Owl found on Roadway perches on CHP Officer’s shoulder for a Selfie!

That’s the cutest rock I have ever seen

How special is that!!!! He should feel very privileged

A California Highway Patrol officer in South Lake Tahoe snapped an especially arresting photo – of an owl. What the officer working a graveyard shift had thought was a rock in the road turned out to be the small owl.

The agency said a pair of officers working the graveyard shift were on patrol near South Lake Tahoe when they saw what they thought was a small rock on the roadway.

After turning around to remove it, they discovered that it was a small owl, specifically, a saw-whet owl.
The CHP said: When one of the officers bent down to pick it up, the owl promptly walked up his arm and perched on his shoulder.
The officer was able to take a selfie with the owl before it flew away…!

Thank you officers for helping the little guy, he is precious but so are you because you know the value of life.
Is rare to see this! That’s awesome officer!

The saw-whet owl received a Christmas miracle and or perhaps brought some cheer to its finders.
