Maratus spiders are small, typically measuring around 4 to 5 millimeters in body length, and exhibit a remarkable degree of sexual dimorphism. Males are known for their vibrant abdominal displays, often adorned with iridescent scales and intricate patterns. During courtship, they employ a variety of techniques, including rhythmic movements, stridulations, and even dance-like routines, to impress their female counterparts.
