The gag no longer features in the film’s credits
Barbie has been the butt of many jokes over the years, but this one in Toy Story 2 really didn’t age well.
Although the animated movies were a mainstay of our childhoods, not all of the comedy included in them was for kids.
Fans claim to have spotted a host of hidden wisecracks in the flicks which they only picked up on after rewatching them as an adult.
True Toy Story fanatics will know that like a lot of other Pixar films, as the movies also feature a series of hilarious outtakes which play after the credits roll.
They are basically a blooper reel showing Andy‘s beloved toys making ‘mistakes on set’ and forgetting their lines, while snippets from deleted scenes were also included.
This bonus footage was often inspired by real-life events and would reference pop culture and current affairs.

But unfortunately, one such joke ended up biting Toy Story in the backside twenty years after the second film was released.
In 2019, Pixar removed one of these blooper scenes from the 1999 sequel in wake of the #MeToo movement.
It showed Woody (Tom Hanks) beginning a scene while stood alongside Jessie (Joan Cusack) and Bullseye, before going to check on Stinky Pete, who is in his box.
When the loveable cowboy spins the box around, he realises he has interrupted an intimate conversation between the prospector ragdoll (Kelsey Grammer) and two Barbie dolls.
He is seemingly caught chatting the pair up on camera.
Stinky Pete can be heard asking the ladies in a sleazy tone: “So, you two are absolutely identical?
The joke about the two Barbie dolls no longer features in the 1999 film (Disney)
“You know, I’m sure I could get you a part in Toy Story 3…”
By this point, Stinky Pete is in full creep mode and is caressing one of the Barbie’s hands when he finally notices that he’s got an audience.
He then nervously stutters: “Oh I’m sorry, are we back?! Oh! Alright girls, lovely talking with you.
“Yes, anytime you’d like some tips on acting I’d be glad to chat with you,” he said while ushering them out of his box. “Alright, off you go then!”
I’m sure you can put two and two together about why this didn’t age well.
According to Variety, due to the #MeToo movement, which gave victims of sexual assault a global platform to discuss their experiences, and the slew of allegations which emerged about film producer Harvey Weinstein, 72, jokes about seedy movie moguls weren’t really fitting for a Pixar’s kids film – leading Disney to quietly remove the blooper from the film when it was released on Blu-ray.Play
Disney+ followed suit, meaning that Stinky Pete’s joke has been completely scrubbed from Toy Story 2 history – unless you have an early copy of it on DVD, or a link to a clip of the joke, of course.
Fans of the franchise also reckon that filmmakers also slipped an ‘adult’ innuendo into a scene in Toy Story 2 between Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) and Jessie.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see what Toy Story 5 brings us, eh?
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that the fifth film will see the toys ‘go head to head with what kids are obsessed with today’: electronics, as per Radio Times.Featured Image Credit: Disney

The legendary Christmas classic has been blessing our screens for years now and it’s somewhat of a tradition to pop it on each year and cry, laugh and love all over again.
Love Actually is a flick which features a number of couples and couples-to-be and follows their journeys through the holidays, with it ultimately ending with love.
Audiences fell in love with those who appeared on their screens throughout the flick and will be devastated to know what some of those people are no longer with us.
Let’s take a look at who we’ve loved and lost through the film…
Michael Parkinson
Michael Parkinson played himself (Universal Pictures)
Parkinson played himself as the beloved TV host who interviewed Bill Nighy’s character, Billy Mack.

Moreau had a brief moment on the film as taxi passenger Marseille Airport who went uncredited in the film.
She died on 31 July, 2017 at her home in Paris at the age of 89 and was discovered by her maid.
Meg Wynn Owen
Owen got her part in the film as Mary, the PM’s secretary and we got to see her attempt to deal with Hugh Grant’s personal affairs in the flick.
The actress she suffered from dementia and died in June 2022, aged 82.

The actor sadly died of cancer on 4 January 2023, aged 82.
Sheila Allen
Allen played the role of as Jamie’s (Collin Firth) mum in the flick, and was seen briefly by fans.
It was when Jamie decided to ditch his family on Christmas to chase after his soon-to-be fiancé, that we saw Allen beg her son: “But, Jamie, darling!”.
Allen tragically died in London on 13 October 2011, aged 78.
Alan Rickman
Alan Rickman played Harry in the iconic festive flick (Universal Pictures)
Rickman’s death was something that shocked the TV and film industry, and probably led to people no longer hating his character, Harry, who tried to cheat on his wife, Karen with his office assistant.
Rickman was known for his decades of work on screen, including the Harry Potter franchise in which he played Professor Snape.
Sadly, in 2015, Rickman had a minor stroke, which then led to his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer which was terminal.
Less than a year later, the actor died from his cancer at the age of 69.
Gillian Barge
Barge played the cabinet minister in the film, and this would be her last film role ever.
Such as the case with Hall, Barge also unfortunately passed away in 2003 after being diagnosed with cancer. She was 63.
Margery Mason
You’ll remember when Grant’s character was frantically trying to find out where Martine McCutcheon’s Natalie lived when he ended up at Harris Street where an old lady answered and clocked who he was. Yep, that was Mason.
She was 90 at the time and retired from acting that same year before her death at the amazing age of 100 in 2014.
Lynden David Hall
Lynden David Hall had an incredibly memorable role in Love Actually (Universal Pictures)
You’ll know Hall if you heard his voice, as he was the man who was enlisted as the wedding singer for Kiera Knightley and Chiwetel Ejiofor’s characters, singing the Beatles’ ‘All You Need Is Love’.
However, the same year that the film was released, Hall’s life was tragically cut short.
In October 2003, Hall was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and he died on 14 February 2006, aged 31, from complications from a stem cell transplant he received the year before.
Caroline John
John was Sam’s (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) grandmother in the film who we briefly saw on screen. Little did you know that John previously played the role of the Doctor’s companion in 1970 alongside Jon Pertwee’s Third Doctor.
Unfortunately, John would too be diagnosed with cancer and die in 2021 at age 71.
Edward Hardwicke
Hardwicke was young Sam’s grandfather, and was well known for his theatre work.
Sadly, Hardwicke died on 16 May 2011 of cancer at a hospice.Featured Image Credit: Universal Pictures

Andy could return for Toy Story 5 with his new family being main part of the plot
It has been rumoured that Andy may return to our screens for Toy Story 5.
Andy could be returning to our screens for Toy Story 5, a Disney journalist has claimed.
Toy Story is one of Pixar’s most successful film collections of all time – so successful, in fact, that it has spawned four movies and various television series.

Even Buzz Lightyear, or at least the inspiration for the toy, even got his own standalone movie Lightyear in 2022.
The first Toy Story was all about the toy’s relationship with their owner Andy.
However, in Toy Story 3, we saw the gang with a brand new owner, Bonnie, after Andy donates them before heading to college.
And viewers suspected this would be a natural ending to Andy’s storyline within the films.
However, rumours about him possibly returning for the fifth film have started to stir online.
Pixar/Disney
In a video to their YouTube channel, TheDisInsider, it is claimed that the plot of the fifth film could involve Andy returning but this time as an adult and with a family of his own…*emotional snivels everywhere*
His family are also speculated to play an integral role in the film, however, what role that could be is yet to be confirmed.
Disney themselves have not yet officially spoken on the reports.
Not to mention the fact that Woody was also split up from Buzz and the gang at the end of the fourth movie to be a ‘lost toy’ with Bo Peep, so it is also unclear how the two could possibly be reunited in the fifth instalment of the franchise.
And fans have weighed in on the theory in the comments.
Disney/Pixar
“I wanna watch it.” one person said.
Another said that they didn’t know ‘how legit’ the Andy theory was but if they ‘were to guess’ they think it’s likely he’ll be brought back for Toy Story 5.
Some fans on Twitter were pretty chuffed about the possibility of Andy returning, as one commenter said that the films ‘aren’t the same without Andy’, adding that he was ‘integral to the franchise’.
Another said they ‘really want him to appear in Toy Story 5′ .
A third said that ‘this is exactly what I wanted from this film’, while a fourth said: “Andy being a dad sounds pretty wholesome though.”
“IM NOT CRYING, YOU ARE.” someone else exclaimed.
And a final said that this theory ‘had some potential’.

Joker 2 trailer has been released
The trailer for Joker: Folie à Deux has finally dropped
Much to the delight of fans, the trailer for Joker 2, titled Joker: Folie à Deux, has finally dropped.
And I think we can all agree, if you didn’t want to see it before (why not?) – you want to now. Check it out:

The trailer gives us our first look at Harley Quinn, played by Lady Gaga.
She is joining the returning Joaquin Phoenix who is stepping back into the shoes of Joker after having won an Oscar for Best Actor in 2020.
The first Joker was expected to be a hit – but no one could have predicted how massive it went.
Grossing over a billion at the box office, 12 Oscar nominations, and being about the only film people talked about for months – a sequel was always bound to happen.
Gaga’s addition as Harley Quinn is an inspired one, as she takes over the massive shoes of Margot Robbie who played the role in three separate DC films.
(Warner Brothers)
Gaga, however, is the perfect choice for the role for one key reason.
Joker 2, aka Joker: Folie à Deux, is going to be a musical.
Variety, who broke the news that the film would be a jukebox musical, said: “Insiders privy to filming and early versions of Todd Phillips’ eagerly awaited sequel to Joker tell Variety the movie leans heavily towards being ‘mostly a jukebox musical,’ as it integrates at least 15 reinterpretations of ‘very well-known’ songs.
“One is said to be ‘That’s Entertainment’ from the 1953 musical ‘The Band Wagon,’ famously associated with Judy Garland.”
Todd Phillips, who directed The Hangover and War Dogs prior to Joker, is set to return to direct the second film.
Fans are beyond excited having seen the trailer.
One said on X (formerly known as Twitter): “God damn what a beautiful trailer.”

Another added: “Looks so good. I didn’t think a sequel was needed but now I want this film injected in my veins.”
Speaking at Cinemacon, director Todd Phillips said ‘Joker 2 is a movie where music is an essential element, but doesn’t veer too far from the first film’ according to DiscussingFilm.
As well as Gaga and Phoenix, Zazie Beetz will return from the first film, and will be joined by Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Ken Leung, and Steve Coogan (no really, that Steve Coogan).
The trailer confirms the fact that the film will be a musical, as well as previewing the budding romance between Harley Quinn and The Joker.
Releasing 4 October, I think we can all agree, after that trailer we are all f**king hyped for it to drop.Featured Image Credit: Warner Brothers

Paddy Considine thriller with ‘one of the greatest scenes in British movie history’ turns 20 this year
The highly rated film is celebrating a milestone this year.
A Classic Paddy Considine film is coming up to its 20th birthday this year and it showcases how the actor was destined for greatness – even in the early stages of his career.
Well before his moving performance is House of the Dragon, the 50-year-old actor was making a name for himself by playing antiheroes in several British films.
Warp Films
Released in 2004, the thriller was written by Considine himself alongside Shane Meadows, best known for creating This is England, and Paul Fraser.
The film follows Richard, played by Considine, a British army veteran, who returns to his hometown in Derbyshire after service.
He then comes into conflict with a gang of drug dealers in the area, who in the past few years, have been abusing his mentally impaired brother Anthony, played by Toby Kebbell.
Though Considine is best known for playing King Viserys Targaryen, or even evil priest Father John Hughes in Peaky Blinders, or as a recurring face in the legendary Cornetto Trilogy, his role in this particular film should not be overlooked.
Hailed as one of his greatest performances, the film is called Dead Man’s Shoes, and it is turning 20-years-old in October 2024.

Shane Meadows is known for setting his stories in the grey, presumably uneventful settings of northern towns in England, with the plot leaving you hooked the whole way through.
And it’s no different here, as Considine’s performance seems to tie everything together.
However, there is one gripping scene between Richard and gang leader Sonny, played by Gary Stretch, with our protagonist being menacing and scary without moving at all.
Fans of the film have previously dubbed it as ‘one of the greatest’ in British film, with Considine using nothing but his words to dominate the exchange.
People have previously hailed Considine’s performance for helping them ‘taste the visceral loathing’ that the main character has for Sonny, creating ‘a scene of incredible tension’.
But it does take two to tango after all, and Gary Stretch has also been praised for his execution of Sonny in the iconic scene.
Warp Films
It’s another one for the gritty thriller fans then, with a huge name like Paddy Considine spearheading its cast.
This scene might be the most famous in the film, but there are also other parts of the film which are sure to have you just as on-edge as this tense exchange.
If you’re one for outstanding performances from an actor that will have your eyes glued to the screen from start to finish, then Dead Man’s Shoes is one for you.
