The film stars Michael B. Jordan and Michael B. Jordan
A new trailer has dropped for a brand-new vampire horror film starring Michael B. Jordan alongside… Michael B. Jordan.
The film is directed by Ryan Coogler, reuniting the director with Jordan who he’s previously worked with on Black Panther, Creed and Fruitvale Station.
The new trailer is for their latest project, a vampire horror film coming out in 2025 called Sinners.
You can watch it here:

As well as Jordan, the cast is also made up of Hailee Steinfeld, Delroy Lindo, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, and Omar Benson Miller.
The first trailer for the film dropped back in September, debuting Jordan as twins Elijah and Elias Smoke.
While it’s not entirely known what Sinners will be about – other than vampires and horror, of course – the film follows the twins attempting to ‘leave their trouble lives behind’ and return back to their hometown to start anew.
However, it looks like it’s not gonna be smooth sailing as an ‘even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back’.

The trailer has been incredibly well received by fans, with one commenting: “NOW THAT’S HOW YOU MAKE A TRAILER!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got glimpses, not the whole movie. Now the audience might be shocked and shook!”
While another said: “No remake, no sequel nor prequel, no reboot, just an original story… Beautiful.”
A third fan commented: “Jim crow time period, rural town drama, twins rivalry, tommy guns, vampires. Man this horror movie is going to be bonkers”.
Another pointed out how ‘real’ Coogler is for working with Jordan multiple times: “Ryan Coogler is so real for putting Michael B. Jordan in all his movies and then going ‘this isn’t enough.
“I need one more MBJ.”
Meanwhile, someone else on Reddit pointed out that 2024 is truly the year of the vampire, writing: “Salem’s Lot, Nosferatu, Sinners, vampires are BACK baby.”
Michael B Jordan also stars in the film (Warner Brothers)
For fans excited by the prospect of a top tier auteur like Coogler doing a vampire film, then they should look no further than Nosferatu for their hungover New Years Day plans.
The Robert Eggers remake of the classic 1922 silent film stars Bill Skarsgård, Lily Rose Depp, and Nicholas Hoult.
And if a critical score of 87 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes isn’t enough to convince you, how about the film leaving Skarsgård vowing to ‘never play something this evil again’?
That said, the only thing you could say to detract from Nosferatu? Not only does it not have two Michael B. Jordan’s in it, it doesn’t even have one.
Disappointing if you ask me.Featured Image Credit: Warner Brothers

Awkward moment Michael B. Jordan reminds reporter what she used to call him at school
Michael B. Jordan relished in an awkward moment with a reporter revealing what she used to call him at school
Michael B Jordan seemed to have the last laugh with someone who apparently used to mock him back when he was at school.
School can be a brilliant time full of ridiculous antics and great memories and sometimes… it isn’t. If you’re lucky maybe it is a mix of both.
But something most people have to deal with at one point or another at school is bullying, and for celebrities growing up, it isn’t much different.
Michael B. Jordan may be a household name, despite the name already being affiliated with two massive icons, but he wasn’t always.

Last year, while walking the red carpet to promote Creed III he bumped into an old classmate who wanted to interview him and boy he was ready to call her out.
Lore’l is the host of The Morning Hustle Show and attended school with Jordan in Newark, New Jersey.
Jordan wasn’t going to let things slide and interrupted her to say: “I was the corny kid, right?”
Lore’l responded: “I did not say that! I was misquoted for sure!”, leading the actor to double down as he replied: “I heard it.”
Definitely awkward but the man was just going to let things slide so fair play to him.
Jordan was referring to comments Lore’l made on a podcast back in 2021.

She said: “You know what’s so crazy? I went to school with Michael B. Jordan at a point in life.
“And to be honest with you, we teased him all the damn time because his name was Michael Jordan. Let’s start there, and he was no Michael Jordan.
“And he also would come to school with a headshot. We lived in Newark, that’s the hood.
“We would make fun of him like, ‘What you gonna do with your stupid headshot!?’ And now look at him!”
While she denied calling Jordan ‘corny’ she did say she used to mock him for his name while also exclaiming he was now ‘killing it’ in Hollywood.

To try and salvage the moment Lore’l tried to end on a light and funny note buuuuut Jordan wasn’t having it.
She joked: “Well, you’re not corny anymore.” To which Jordan didn’t respond and continued walking down the carpet.
The interview spread like wildfire on social media with many siding with Jordan for both calling her out for her comments and being brave enough to say something.Featured Image Credit: The Morning Hustle

First Superman trailer drops revealing new Clark Kent and first look at Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor
The first trailer has been released
After a long, long wait, the first trailer for Superman: Legacy has finally arrived.
Along with it came our first look at a host of characters but most importantly, it brought a reveal of David Corenswet as Clark Kent as he was revealed as the newest Superman.
When it comes to film Clark Kents, Corenswet finds himself amongst esteemed and rare colleagues.

In film, Corenswet is only the fifth actor to pull on the red trunks (no, I’m not counting Nicholas Cage in The Flash), taking over the role from Henry Cavill.
Superman: Legacy follows Creature Commandos in launching DC’s reboot of their universe headed up by James Gunn, the creator of the Guardians of the Galaxy films who is directing the first new outing of Clark Kent.
Joining Corenswet is a fairly all-star cast. The trailer also featured the first look at Skins alumnus Nicholas Hoult as the bald-headed villain Lex Luthor.
Joining him in the cast is Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Milly Alcock as Supergirl, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Wendell Pierce as Perry White.

With the tagline ‘Look up’, fans of Superman have been losing it following the release of the trailer.
In a roundtable interview discussing the film, director James Gunn said he was ‘giving up everything in [his] life and soul’ for the film.
Regarding casting Corenswet, Gunn said: “I’ve always believed that the casting is the most important and that as long as the actor is the best possible actor for that role, that’s more important than it is for a name.
“A lot of people auditioned, and the weird thing is I was so crazily nervous about getting Superman ready, on [the] very first day of the tapes coming in, I had seen [David] Corenswet in Pearl. So … I said, ‘Get him on the tape.’
(L-R) Peter Safran, Co-CEO of DC Studios, David Corenswet, and James Gunn, Co-Ceo of DC Studios (Jamie McCarthy via Getty Images)
“The very first day came in David’s tape and Rachel’s tape, and I saw both of those and I went, ‘Oh my God, we’re going to be okay.’
“Both of these people are amazing. There were other really good actors for both of those roles, but at the end of the day, it was both of them as individuals.”
Gunn also revealed in various interviews that, following conversations with David Corenswet, he was turned around on the idea of the character having the iconic red trunks, which Zach Snyder’s Superman didn’t go for.
Gunn said: “We were trying on all these different versions, and we screened tested with trunks and no trunks.
“One of the things David said is that Superman wants kids to not be afraid of him.
“He’s incredibly powerful and could be considered scary. He wants people to like him. He wants to be a symbol of hope and positivity.
“So, he dresses like a professional wrestler. He dresses in a way that makes people unafraid of him, that shows that hope and shows that positivity.
“That really clicked in for me.”Featured Image Credit: Warner Brothers

Netflix drops first trailer for new Wallace & Gromit movie
Wallace and Gromit are finally back!
Netflix have released the first trailer for the new Wallace & Gromit movie.
The movie, titled Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, sees the iconic duo facing the returning Feathers McGraw and will be released on Netflix.
He first appeared in Wallace and Gromit: The Wrong Trousers, and is arguably their most recognisable character outside the main two.

The film, releasing Christmas Day this year on Netflix, is the first return to the quintessentially British characters since Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death from 2008.
It will also be the first feature film entry into the series since 2005’s Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, which won an Oscar in 2006 for Best Animated Feature.
The director of that film, Nick Park, who created the characters, is returning once again for Vengeance Most Fowl.

Feathers will not be the only villain of the film either, with ‘gnomes going bad’ also playing a part in the plot.
Director Nick Park, speaking on WallaceAndGromit.com, said: “I’d had the idea of a film about garden gnomes turning bad for more than a decade, but I could never work out what made them bad.”
He went on to say: “It occurred to me that the single most asked question I get when I meet fans is, will the penguin Feathers McGraw, Wallace and Gromit’s original antagonist from The Wrong Trousers 30 years ago, ever return?
“We’ve had fun bringing him back in cameo capacities but now, three decades on, it felt like the right time.
“Then it hit me: What if Feathers was involved with these gnomes.”
Feathers made an appearance in a cameo capacity at the end of the recent Chicken Run sequel on Netflix.

The synopsis of the film reads: “In Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a ‘smart’ gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own.
“When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again!”
In the replies to DiscussingFilm’s post of the clip, viewers couldn’t contain their excitement for the characters to return.
One fan tweeted: “That’s Christmas day sorted..!”
Meanwhile, a Wallace and Gromit superfan quoted it saying: “I can’t even joke this is so perfect, we’re actually so back.”

Why Henry Cavill left role as Superman as new Clark Kent is revealed in first trailer
A new Superman will be wearing the cape
Following the reveal of the new Superman played by David Corenswet, many viewers will be left with the same question.
“Wait a minute, what happened to Henry Cavill?”
As recently as late 2022, Cavill was saying that he was set to appear in a future Superman film, and appeared in a post-credits scene for 2022’s Black Adam.
Despite this, in December 2022 it was confirmed that Henry Cavill would not be coming back, and instead Corenswet would be the new man to don the cape.

This came after Cavill appeared in starring roles in three separate films, playing Clark Kent in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and Justice League. No, we will not be counting Zack Snyder’s Justice League as a totally separate fourth appearance.
Cavill announced on his Instagram in October 2022 that he would be returning, saying: “I wanted to make it official: I am back as Superman … Thank you for your support and thank you for your patience. I promise it will be rewarded.”
Despite this, a month later, James Gunn and Peter Safran were named co-CEOs of DC Studios, and announced they were going to be rebooting the direction of the DC Universe.
In December, it was announced that a new actor was going to be brought in to play the character.

Posting to Instagram again, Henry Cavill posted about the news, providing within it a hint as to why he would not be returning.
He said: “I will, after all, not be returning as Superman.
“After being told by the studio to announce my return back in October, prior to their hire, this news isn’t the easiest, but that’s life. The changing of the guard is something that happens.
“I respect that. James and Peter have a universe to build. I wish them and all involved with the new universe the best of luck, and the happiest of fortunes.
“My turn to wear the cape has passed, but what Superman stands for never will. It’s been a fun ride with you all, onwards and upwards.”
It has also been confirmed that Superman: Legacy will focus on the younger years of the caped hero, which had already passed in Cavill’s iteration.

James Gunn wrote on X: “Peter & I have a DC slate ready to go, which we couldn’t be more over-the-moon about; we’ll be able to share some exciting information about our first projects at the beginning of the new year.
“Among those on the slate is Superman. In the initial stages, our story will be focusing on an earlier part of Superman’s life, so the character will not be played by Henry Cavill.
“But we just had a great meeting with Henry and we’re big fans and we talked about a number of exciting possibilities to work together in the future.”
Superman: Legacy releases on 11 July 2025.
