The Bunnies had their own way of getting the place festive
With the ‘big man’ already living in their house, the Playboy Bunnies had their own special ways of celebrating the other ‘big man’ of the year.
Of course, Hugh Hefner was known for having massive celebrations at his mansion and at Christmas, the bunnies kept that up – even if they describe the place as ‘dirty’.
Although, some of their ways of getting festive are pretty unconventional – if that’s a surprise.
Back when The Girls Next Door reality series was on TV, we got a bit of an insight into the women’s lives there as the Bunnies shacked up under one roof alongside the millionaire’s wife and girlfriends.

The Mansion’s massive garden ended up featuring a tobogganing slope and they even crafted a ‘Panty Chandelier’.
But there most notable creation has to be the Snowman Hefner.
Holly Madison explained: “We built a snow Hef, which we surprised him with.
“We pulled out a smoking jacket and a pipe and a hat, and we made a snow Hef complete with a penis.”
But the bunnies didn’t leave little snow Hef hanging out in the breeze – they made sure he was covered up with a robe and hat, of course.
Hef seemed pretty buzzing with his little Snowman replica and posed for snaps alongside him.

The Panty Chandelier was literally just the golden chandelier being adorned with women’s underwear.
Hefner’s wife Crystal showed it off above the Christmas tree and said on the show: “Hef asked if I wanted to take them down but I said we can just leave them up there because that’s what this place is known for; good times and panty-less people.”
In the living room, which doubled as a ‘movie room’, there was an absolute whopper of a Christmas tree – with ’35 boxes’ of LED lights.
Here, they’d cuddle up for festive films and while Crystal preferred Elf, Hef was a lover of the classics.

“Hef’s favourite Christmas movie is Miracle on 34th Street. Possibly ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’, or possibly ‘Christmas Story’,” she said.
But while they may have been cosying up in front of festive films and decorating with underwear, some of the women who lived at the Mansion have described it as being pretty grubby.
Izabella St. James previously wrote a tell-all memoir about her time at the Los Angeles mansion, called Bunny Tales, as she revealed: “We all did our best to decorate our rooms and make them homely, but the mattresses on our beds were disgusting – old, worn and stained.”
She went on to add that Hef was ‘used to dirty carpets’ despite wanting the girlfriends to have ‘girly’ rooms with ‘white carpets and pink walls’.

Experts share types of alcohol that cause the most hangxiety as UK braced for work Christmas parties
Christmas parties are almost upon us and you might want to know which types of alcohol will give you the worst hangover
It’s Christmas!
Alright, Christmas is still three weeks away, but December itself is basically a whole month dedicated to Christmas.
As you read this now retail employees across the country are being forced to listen to the same festive songs over and over in conditions the Geneva Convention would probably frown upon.
Meanwhile, offices are starting to put up posters about the inevitable work Christmas party, an event which can probably be deemed successful if you don’t wake up to an email from the HR department telling you to come in for a meeting.
Even if you do manage to avoid getting into trouble, you might still wake up the next day with ‘hangxiety’, a punishing mixture of a hangover and anxiety that’ll put you right off your stride at what is meant to be the most wonderful time of the year.
Fortunately, there are experts who know what kinds of alcohol are likely to make you feel even worse when you wake up tomorrow.
“Time to do things we definitely won’t regret tomorrow!” (Getty Stock Photo/Thomas Barwick)
Mental health expert Lisa Gunn explained to HuffPost that while drinking can help relieve your anxiety in the short term there’s a ‘rebound effect’ which will kick in later on and leave you feeling less than glorious.
She said that alcohol messes with the neurotransmitters in your brain and fouls up the chemical messages going around it, which impacts your mood.
Worst type of alcohol for hangxiety
Gunn said that quaffing spirits can really boost your blood alcohol levels which ‘can lead to more pronounced rebound anxiety’, so you might want to stay away from sugary cocktails with strong spirits in them.
However, red wine might be the worst beverage of all on a heavy night on the Christmas claret, as it could leave your body dealing with tyramine and histamine, which can compound your hangover with anxiety and thus burden you with ‘hangxiety’.
On the other hand, low alcohol content beer might be a better option to reach for both if you want to avoid getting stupidly drunk at the Christmas party and wake up the next day without hangxiety.
Now you know what to drink it might help to know what behaviours to avoid during the work Christmas do.

There are plenty of legal reasons why you might get sacked for being an utter pillock at the Christmas party, as a legal expert explained that usual work policies will apply during the fun times and your employer will be liable for the stuff you do.
Be careful not to commit acts of gross misconduct during the Christmas party, which includes harassment, insubordination and property damage.
Definitely don’t fight anyone, that’s a decent life rule in general but it’s worth making it clear that a drunken brawl during the Christmas party is a really bad idea.
The availability of alcohol isn’t going to be an effective defence either, as legal experts warned that even if the boss puts on a free bar it’s not going to be accepted as an explanation for drunken behaviour.Featured Image Credit: Getty Stock Images

Hugh Hefner’s widow explains sad reason why she thinks Playboy Mansion owner chose his infamous lifestyle
Hefner’s third wife Crystal described him as like a ‘lost little boy’
Hugh Hefner’s widow has explained the sad reason why she thinks the Playboy Mansion owner chose his infamous lifestyle.
Crystal Harris married the magazine publisher in 2012 when she was 26 and he was 86.
She was Hefner’s third and final wife until he died in 2017 and earlier this year, she released a tell-all memoir detailing her life in the notorious house.

Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself outlined the misogyny and objectification she’d experienced in the supposed ‘glamorous’ lifestyle.
During an appearance on ITV’s This Morning, Harris opened up about the grubbiness of the Playboy Mansion and how she has been looking at the ‘psychology’ of life there.
Hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary also asked her about how Hefner ‘ended up where he ended up’.
Harris explained that once she left the Mansion she ‘went into therapy for about five years’ and realised the place ‘messed her up more’ than she thought it had.

“In a way I felt sorry for him when I was there, I felt sorry for him. And ever since I knew him he was a kind of lost little boy that created this lifestyle to help his inner wounds.” she said.
“But it never helped and yeah, he was sad.”
She went on to claim that Hefner told her that he ‘didn’t really get love as a child’ and ‘a lot of the girls he liked didn’t like him back’.
“So I think that was his way to prove them all wrong or get back at people, I’m not really sure.” she added.
As former Bunny Izabella St James has also spoken about, while Hefner might have supposedly created this lifestyle for his ‘inner wounds’, it wasn’t exactly good for people’s health.

Harris said that she ended up getting ‘very sick’ and when the Mansion was checked for mould, it turned out there was ‘toxic mould everywhere’.
“It ended up being like a $2million remediation at the house and it’s bad, it was very bad,” she added.
St. James also described how the mattresses on the beds ‘were disgusting – old, worn and stained’.
“Hef was used to dirty carpets. The one in his bedroom had not been changed for years, and things became significantly worse when Holly Madison moved into his room with him as Girlfriend No. 1 soon after I moved in, bringing her two dogs.” she said.
St. James also claimed the dogs weren’t house trained and would just ‘do their business’ on the carpet.Featured Image Credit: Charley Gallay/Getty Images for Playboy/ Robert Mora/Getty Images

Former Playboy model who used to live at Hugh Hefner’s mansion now sleeps in £60 tent
She was the first Brit to be Playboy’s ‘Model of the Year’
Back in the day, the Playboy mansion seemed to ooze glitz, glam and, well, sex. While it might have been the case figuratively, Hugh Hefner’s pad was the opposite of pitching a tent on a farm. And yet, a former Playboy model who used to live there now sleeps in a £60 tent.
Louise Glover used to work in the classic British ‘lad mags’ like FHM, Bizarre and Loaded. The 41-year-old met Hef when she was 21 during a photoshoot in Los Angeles.
She went on to appear on the cover of Playboy Vixens and in 2006 became the first British model to be crowned ‘Model of the Year’ in Playboy Special Editions.

But despite presenting gigs at the horse racing, things have taken a turn for Glover as she spoke to The Sun about having to sleep in a tent.
The beauty pageant star said rent had become so ‘impossible’ she’s been camping in her temporary home for over a month.
“I am trying to stay upbeat and make the most of my situation, but it is difficult,” she said. “I need to get myself out of this pickle soon. Things have to change before winter hits.”
Before this ‘pickle’, Glover had been paying £550 a month for a room in a shared property near Windsor, but her rent jumped up to £750.
Trying to get her personal training and dog walking businesses built up, she turned to putting up the tent at a camp site near Reading, where she sleeps in a sleeping bag on a double blow-up mattress.
“I have two hot water bottles to sleep with at night,” she explained. “I make sure I am on a campsite so I am safe and I also have my car. My luck will change soon.”

There’s no denying it’s quite the jump from shacking up at Hefner’s mansion, where she said she had ‘the best time’.
“I didn’t even think about it that much at the time, but I was hanging out with the biggest names in the world,” Glover said. “I loved all the other Playboy models, we were like a family.
“I really liked Hugh, he was a total gentleman. The mansion was incredible.”
Nowadays, she’s struggling to get the modelling work and refuses ‘to do anything pornographic’.
And while people have suggested she makes some cash on OnlyFans, she explained: “I would rather get my life together and live here, in this field. I don’t need to lower myself to that. I have morals and self-respect.”
Glover claims a homeless shelter said she wouldn’t be a priority and, as she doesn’t ‘like to rely on people’, she’s ‘starting from scratch’ with her tent.Featured Image Credit: Ferdaus Shamim/WireImage/Robert Mora/Getty Images

Cher says music legend stripped in front of her while drunk in Playboy Mansion
The singer made the revelation in her upcoming book Cher: The Memoir
Pop icon Cher has claimed another music legend stripped naked in front of her during a visit to the infamous Playboy Mansion.
The 78-year-old Goddess of Pop is gearing up to release her upcoming memoir, which will shed light on her six-decade career in the limelight.
Given Cher’s – real name Cherilyn Sarkisian – longevity in the spot light and ability to reinvent herself over the years, there’s no doubt the book will feature plenty of star-studded anecdotes.
And if the first teaser is anything to go by, the memoir is going to be an absolute page-turner.

Ahead of the release of Cher: The Memoir, Part One (yes, Cher’s life is so decorated that she needs a two-part memoir) the singer dished the dirt on an alleged visit to the Playboy mansion during the 1970s – which ended with another musical icon drunkenly stripping naked in front of her.
Hugh Hefner’s infamous mansion has dominated headlines over the years due to tales of debauchery occurring within its four walls.
Turns out the mansion had a pretty legendary status back in 1974 as well, when Cher ran into none other than John Lennon and his friend Harry Nilsson at a restaurant in Los Angeles – with the pair desperate to see the Playboy mansion.
The singer was heading over there for one of Hefner’s ‘movie nights’, which was much more relaxed than the infamous ‘drunken orgies’ the mansion was known for.
After learning that Lennon was ‘dying’ to see inside the house, Cher agreed to take the pair along with her – however she would soon realise the pair were much ‘drunker than I’d thought’ on the drive over.

After arriving at the mansion, Cher led the pair away from Hefner and outside to the mansion’s grotto – which is where the men opted to strip off and make their way into the pool.
“Giggling and falling over each other, John and Harry followed me out into the grounds,” Cher recalled in the memoir (via The Mirror).
“Sitting them down inside the infamous Grotto – it was like a huge cave that one end of the swimming pool went into – I went to find a drink and when I came back they were standing in the middle of the Grotto naked but still in the water, thank God.”
Calling the situation ‘not pretty’, the singer went on to recall how Lennon and Nilsson had threatened to wander around the mansion in the buff for the rest of the night.

“I was trying not to laugh,” she added. “It took me ages to get them back in their clothes. It was like herding drunks.”
We certainly look forward to seeing what other revelations come out in Cher’s two-part memoir.
